Where is the Center of New Jersey?

There have been disputes. Just searching online will lead to them if you search for the "geographic center of NJ." Environmental factors cause it to change slightly from year to year. But people who think they live in Central Jersey may be surprised to find out the state's Center.

Despite what you might say, I think you do fine in front of the camera...

Can't wait to see the entire movie!

Cant wait to watch this doc. Lived in Plainfield my whole life, and we always self identified as central jersey. Everything above newark was North Jersey, and below toms river was south. The driscoll bridge is not the north south line for sure.

I know this is an old post, but I found out about your movie through Jen Miller's blog (after hearing her speak at my school today...)

I'm actually from New Egypt so I was very surprised to see this video! I've always heard the mayor say this was the center of the state, but didn't think anyone paid attention. Thanks for giving us some respect; I've always felt that we didn't have much of an identity because people from "true" Central NJ said we weren't central, but south....and people from South Jersey said we weren't south, but central.

Anyway, I wrote more here than I meant to, but I'll definitely look forward to the movie!
